Addendum to my previous review.
The employees at the Portsmouth NH Hertz office are forthright, personable and professional. There were no hidden costs, pricing was competitive and paperwork was processed expeditiously. I highly recommend them.
After all my paperwork was finished initially, the representative had said that I was put in their Gold Rewards program and that I would have enough points for a free day rental to use within the year. I was surprised & pleased and repeated it to them when I left and returned the car. After 3 weeks, I checked with their customer service & they said I would've needed to use my Gold Rewards before booking to obtain enough points for a free rental and that I only get the some odd points for the car I rented.
With the rental car industry being so questionable with their hidden costs and other charges, I question the integrity of this location. I do not recommend that you use them.
