Lens Doctors was recommended to me by a patient as I was frustrated with the "factory-like" eye group I was going to after moving to the N.H. Seacoast.
I came to Lens Doctors a few years ago soon after a major move to NH from New York City. From the moment I set foot in the door I was greeted with smiling faces, a professional environment and super educated customer friendly staff. My eye exam went well with Dr. Mocklis. He's just the best really friendly and easy to talk too. From there, I was graciously helped by the staff. I think it was Andrea to assist me pick out a frames...and for a super picky, stubborn customer Andrea stayed with me the whole way and actually made the process fun. In fact, I just couldn't choose between 3 different pairs of frames and asked if it would be OK if I could come back in a few days after I had time to think about it. Absolutely no pressure. I returned in 5 days picked my frames, paid and in no time I had my new glasses. Since then, Lens Doctors is just where I go and over the years purchased another 3 pairs of glasses/frames and one pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Listen, no business is perfect, but at every turn the staff at Lens Doctors immediately addressed any issues along the way and it was clear that I came first. I would highly recommend Lens Doctors to anyone seeking a solid, well-managed, excellent & super educated Doctors with a well-trained staff that have the wherewithal and the ability to address any problems that may arise.
Doctor Peter Mocklis was very helpful and friendly and gentle, explained everything, recommended the best pair of glasses for not only my vision but also my hobbies, reading needs, TV watching, etc.
Dr. Mocklis is outstanding and, like the rest of the staff, is personable, patient and caring. He was able to fit me with contact lenses that are comfortable and adaptable to my lifestyle.
I only gave three stars to Lens Doctors because of the long wait that I have experienced, as well as the lack of communication from the staff. I was asked to come in 15 minutes early to fill out 5 minutes of paperwork, and then waited an additional 10 minutes after my appointment time. I was told that my glasses would take 1-2 weeks to arrive. After 2 weeks I initiated a call to them, could not get an immediate answer, they called back but left a faulty voice message that could not be accessed. So the next day I called them back, and was told it would be 3 more days because the frames were on back order. I called on the designated day, and was told they would be 5 more days. I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and have never waited 3 1/2 weeks for my new ones. And of course, my credit card was billed immediately. So, $500+ dollars and 3 1/2 weeks later, I still do not have my glasses. I will go elsewhere next time!
They were great. On time, quick appointments. Delivered nicely within the expected turnaround time. Great experience.
