Subs are good (but no sandwiches! Just subs and wraps) but salad is just sub toppings put together - lettuce, tomato, onion. Very disappointing. Chicken tenders came out of a bag - no better than what you do at home. Wendy's are far better. Service and staff are superb!
Bennett's is one of the best sandwich shops in the area! The steak and cheese and Italian subs are very delicious, just to name a couple.The staff is super friendly and polite, and always have a smile on their faces. They take the time to repeat your order to make sure it's correct. It's very clean and you can see inside the kitchen too. Prices are very fair for the amount of food you get - good quality ingredients too! Check them out if you haven't yet. You will not be disappointed.
Bennett's is awesome! The staff is super friendly and polite. They ALWAYS get your order correct because they take the time to repeat it back to you. Lunch is amazing, but maybe you don't know that they have some of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. Check them out.
Stopped here while leaf peeping this year with my father and uncle. Each had different food that was all amazing. The larger subs are very large I suggest sizing down to enjoy some crisp fries. Even full my dad refused to waste a bite of his turkey sub. Clean plate club for the whole table.
Cheap, massive portion sizes, clean, and a sizable menu. Bennett's has dethroned Moe's as the best sub shop in town, purely due to their "price for what you get" ratio. If you get a full-sized sub here, you either won't finish it, or you'll be full for the next three days. So long as they don't raise their prices, Bennett's is my go-to for lunch in Portsmouth.
