Great place to have a great experience! Took about an hour and a half. Very well kept. I'm impressed with the attention to detail.
Very informative and lots of fun activities for kids, the houses are mostly in good shape and right across the street is Prescott park. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff really seem to know the place. They also have staff who act and dress as if they where in different time periods, and they are super friendly and welcome questions, if I could give this place an extra star I would.
Great day out! Not too big, easy to walk around, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, well-presented features and buildings, high-quality restorations, and a really great insight into history!
I was pleasantly surprised by Strawbery Banke. Both the modern interpreters and the actors representing the past were knowledgeable and friendly. I especially liked the woman who portrayed Mrs. Shapiro. The mix of time periods and cultured was instructive. The cafe is good for a simple lunch. I would recommend this place to anyone with an interest in New England history.
Staff was rude to kids, assumed they were going to brake everything they were near and yelled at them multiple times. I was with them the entire time and they were fine. I wish they didn't assume every kid was going to touch everything. The kids would have had more fun. Won't be going back again.
