We needed a passport within hours. The day before leaving for Ireland, I noticed that my husband's passport had expired. We called to make an appointment, got a confirmation number, and arrived 1 1/4 hour before our appointment. They took us right in, sent us to get a photo at the local Walgreens, came back to the passport office (which they took us right away without waiting in line), told us to go out for breakfast and they would call us. 1 1/2 hours later, we had a new passport!! Thank you to the passport people in Portsmouth! You are a Godsend for airheads like me. Everyone there was friendly, smiled and reassured us that it can be done.
I was a walk in, it was busy, and I was welcomed immediately. A cheerful woman confirmed my purpose, took my documentation, and I had my business completed within 15 minutes; my new passport will be mailed to me within 2-5 business days. Excellent service by competent staff.
One of the best government offices I've ever been to! Realized my passport did not meet the validity requirement for Germany the night before our trip. I booked an appointment over the phone and got one of the first ones of the day. Got there as soon as they opened (outside of my appointment time) and was helped immediately! Everyone was really friendly and understanding of my situation. Same day passport took only an hour and a half to make! So thankful for the accommodating staff!
The employees at this National Passport Center were by far the most caring and nice federal employees I have ever encountered. They not only catered to our needs, but went above and beyond to make sure that we would walk out of there with our needs fulfilled. We walked out with a passport in hand within three hours. They were super friendly and were able to help us 35 minutes before our scheduled appointment. With incredible customer service and reliability, this was an amazing experience at this office.
The people that work at this passport center are not only friendly and kind but help in any way they can to make sure your needs are met! This experience as stressful as it was, was made so much easier with the help of all of these people, so thank you all!!
My wife noticed she couldn’t find my passport a week before we fly out for vacation. I immediately made a 10 am appointment on Tuesday, showed up at 9:30 with all my paperwork completed and documentation for the application. They immediately started processing my paperwork, gave me 3 options to get my passport to me before I travel and had me out of the office by 9:45, while they all had a smile on their faces, which had me leaving so grateful and thankful and I also had a smile on my face!!!
