Wonderful Nepalse restaurant in downtown Portsmouth off of the main square. We ordered several small plates and left very satisfied. I would highly recommend going. This is a great option for vegans and vegetarians.
This was the best meal I've had in a long time - the staff is among the friendliest I've encountered, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is very spicy (a 6/10 spice level here is comparable to an 8/10 most other places) but delicious. I will be recommending Durbar Square as much as I can.
I stopped here for lunch with a friend. The food is AMAZING. The sweet potato chili was particularly good. They service was spectacular as well. They were incredibly kind and accommodating of two women with strollers. I'm looking forward to going back next time I'm in Portsmouth.
Beyond nailing the spiciness, the food was delicious. Probably wouldn't order the bread again (kinda dry :/) but the mo-mos were super yummy.
The food was absolutely delicious. Great portions sizes with true authentic flavor. They catered to our dietary needs, were smiles the entire time, and thanked us graciously. Not only that, they have begun to hold Yoga classes in the space. Portsmouth is unbelievably lucky to have acquired such thoughtful and passionate business owners!

Ordered the sweet potato curry with vegetable mo-mos and herb bread. They asked how spicy I wanted the curry from 1-10 with a recommendation of 7 (since I said I like spicy food). I asked for an 8 and was not disappointed. It was HOT! Next time I'm in the area I'm going to ask for level 10 because I want my face to feel like it's melting off.
As far as popularity goes, I think people in the Portsmouth area are mostly looking to go out for greasy pub food and beer so they skip by anything that doesn't have burgers and fries on the menu. Their loss.
